The EU special representative for sanctions issues will arrive in Georgia

David O'Sullivan, the special representative of the European Union on sanctions issues, will arrive in Georgia today. He will discuss with the authorities of Georgia the control over the observance of international sanctions.

The delegation also includes the head of the US State Department's Sanctions Coordination Office, Ambassador Jim O'Brien and UK Foreign Ministry representative Kumar Iyer. Meetings will be held with the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Economy, Finance, the management of the National Bank and the Prosecutor's Office.
