Upon the arrival of the foreign ministers of the community, the head of the EU's foreign service, Josep Borrell, announced that on Monday, the EU Foreign Affairs Council would approve the expansion of European military aid to Ukraine.
"The EU Council will approve the allocation of additional 3.5 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine," Borel said.
Borrell also noted that extending that aid is more important than ever because "what happened this weekend in Russia is destroying the Russian government and affecting its political system."
