Airbus sold 500 aircraft at the Le Bourget hangar

European aircraft maker Airbus signed a deal with Indian carrier Indigo to sell 500 A320neo aircraft in the suburb of Le Bourget on the first day of the Paris Air Show. This is the most significant individual order in the history of air transportation.

In 2019, the Indian airline Indigo already ordered 300 planes of the same model from Airbus. The airline intends to buy almost 1,000 aircraft from the European aircraft manufacturer, 480 of which will be by the end of this year. The delivery of the planes ordered on June 19 will begin only in 2030.

At the same time, Airbus and Indigo did not specify the contract amount.
