India will buy $3 billion worth of UAVs from the US

India will buy 31 missiles from the US that can stay in the air for a long time and engage in surveillance. The value of the contract is estimated at more than 3 billion dollars.

According to Hindustan Times, India's Defense Council has approved the purchase of 15 MQ-9B SeaGuardians and 16 MQ-9B SkyGuardians drones to strengthen maritime and land defense.

The decision was made on June 21, on the eve of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the US.
