"The US may lift sanctions against Iran's oil exports if Tehran agrees to fulfill several commitments related to its nuclear program. Among them is the refusal to enrich uranium to the level necessary to create nuclear weapons," Reuters reports, citing sources.
According to an Iranian official, if Washington and Tehran agree on a prisoner exchange and unfreezing Iranian assets, further de-escalation could include lifting sanctions on Iranian oil exports. For this, Iran must commit not to enrich uranium beyond 60% and cooperate more closely with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
