Georgia will build another bypass road to Russia

Georgia will build another bypass road in the direction of Russia. The Department of Highways has announced a 94.2 million-dollar tender for constructing a part of the renovated road in the direction of the Kazbegi-Upper Lars checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border.

The new road will continue the Arsha-Stepantsminda bypass road and will be one of the critical sections of the new highway. Thanks to this, reaching Kobi village without stopping in Stepantsminda will be possible.
