US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller wrote on his Twitter page:
"We are deeply concerned that Azerbaijani shootings injured two civilian employees of a US-affiliated company in Armenia. We reiterate our call for restraint along the borders as the parties work towards a sustainable and balanced peace," he wrote.
It should be noted that Indian citizens Muhammad Asif and Mirhasan Sahajan, involved in the construction works of the factory, were injured today in Yeraskh.
We are deeply concerned that two civilian employees of a U.S.-affiliated company in Armenia sustained injuries from gunfire from the direction of Azerbaijan. We reiterate our call for restraint along the borders as the parties work toward a durable and balanced peace.
