Germany adopts a national security strategy for the first time

The German government has developed the first national security strategy. The concept, adopted based on the security situation analysis as part of a coordinated overall approach, involves strengthening the country's security in three main areas: defense capability, resilience, and resilience.

In particular, the document announced the intention to raise the average annual level of defense spending to 2% of GDP.

The concept also refers to expanding Germany's cybernetic and space potential, strengthening the fight against espionage and sabotage, and strengthening the European technological base for security and defense.
