Indonesia and the United States have begun joint air exercises of F-16 fighter crews

The Indonesian Air Force and the United States have launched the joint Air Force Cope West exercise at the Rozmin Nurjadin Air Base in Riau Province. The American embassy in the republic reported this on Wednesday.

The exercise, which will last until June 23, involves six F-16 fighter jets of the US Air Force and seven similar aircraft of the Indonesian Air Force. The purpose of the exercise is to improve coordination between the military personnel of the two countries.
