Japan is conducting joint naval exercises with the US and France

On Monday evening, the headquarters of the self-defense forces announced that Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Forces conducted joint exercises with the US and French navies, with the participation of American aircraft carriers and a B-52 bomber. 

The exercises were held on June 7-10 in the Okinawa region and the East China Sea. The parties fought against surface ships, submarines, and air defense issues during the tactical activities.
