The Deputy Spokesman of the US State Department, Vedant Patel, referred to the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations and the upcoming meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington.
"The parties continue to pursue a peaceful future in the South Caucasus region. We continue to believe that direct dialogue is key to achieving lasting and dignified peace," he said.
