The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan referred to the interview given by the Secretary of the Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan, to the Public TV Company.
"The demarcation process that Azerbaijan has carried out with some of its neighbors until now was not based on a specially selected map, but on the analysis and consideration of all legally significant documents.
The application of this practice is also possible in the case of Armenia. In this specific case, it would be more beneficial for the Armenian side to start demarcation works than to insist on the 1975 map," the statement states.
