Deputy Assistant to NATO Secretary General for Political Affairs, Representative for Caucasus and Central Asia Xavier Colomina has arrived in Azerbaijan. In Baku, Kolomina met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the assistant of the President of Azerbaijan, Hikmet Hajiyev.
The meetings discussed the NATO-Azerbaijan cooperation, the role of NATO in the energy security field, and the current peace process after the last Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations.
Kolomins emphasized that NATO supports the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
