American singer, dancer, actress and songwriter Tina Turner died at the age of 83.
The statement of the artist's representative says: "Tina Turner, the 'Queen of Rock'n'Roll', died today at the age of 83 after a long illness at her home in Kusnacht, near Zurich, Switzerland. The world is losing a musical legend."
Turner has received eleven Grammys, including eight competition and three Grammy Hall of Fame awards.
