US President Joe Biden made an optimistic statement about the national debt after a meeting with Republican Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy in the House of Representatives.
"We have emphasized once again that there is no question of default, and the only option for us is negotiations with good intentions and inter-party agreement," he said.
