Vice-spokesman of the US Secretary of State, Vendant Patel, referred to yesterday's military provocation by Azerbaijan on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
"The incident undermines the progress made by Armenia and Azerbaijan in establishing a stable and dignified peace.
We urge the leaders of the two countries, when they meet in Brussels on May 14, to agree to a definite withdrawal of troops from the border, as stated by Secretary of State Blinken during the discussions hosted in Washington," he said.
