"Azerbaijan and Turkey are waiting for Armenia to accept the extended hand". Ministry of Defense of Turkey

Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar spoke about Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Azerbaijani relations during the "Anatolian Eagle-2023" military exercise.
Akar, in particular, stated: "Azerbaijan and Turkey together extended a hand to Armenia. We are still waiting for that hand to be accepted. We want peace, we say to Armenia: be independent, do not act on orders from outside. We think that if Armenia acts in accordance with the conditions and geography of this region, it will benefit the region and itself."
