The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, visited Kyiv.
During the visit, a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is planned.
"It's good to be back in Kyiv. Where the values we cherish are defended daily, so this is a suitable place to celebrate Europe Day," she wrote on her Twitter microblog.
