The US Department of State issued a message in connection with the meeting between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev, scheduled for May 14 in Brussels, in which, in particular, it is said:
"We welcome the meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan scheduled for May 14 in Brussels. This is a good opportunity to develop progress after the Washington negotiations," the statement said.
Earlier, the press service of the Council of Europe officially confirmed that the meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan would take place in Brussels on May 14 through the mediation of Charles Michel.
