May 9 will be celebrated as Europe Day in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented a bill to the Verkhovna Rada proposing to move the celebration of the Victory Day against Nazism in the Second World War to May 8.

"And on May 9, we will celebrate "Europe Day," A holiday in honor of peace and unity. Today, unity on our continent brings us closer to celebrating our first day of peace. And it would be right to celebrate Europe Day with all of free Europe," said Zelensky.
