French Interior Minister Gérard Darmanin's latest statements about Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni's inability to tackle the problem of illegal migration are leading to a new conflict between Rome and Paris.
Earlier, the French minister said on the "RMS" radio station air that Italian Prime Minister George Meloni cannot control the migration issue. According to the Italian Ministry of Internal Affairs, since the beginning of the year, 42,500 migrants have arrived on the southern coast of Italy by sea from Africa.
