According to the Azerbaijani press, the authorities of Azerbaijan are asking the Armenian monks to leave Dadivank. Mubariz Gurbanli, the chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of Azerbaijan, made such a call.
"Armenians have nothing to do with it, the monastery belongs to Caucasian Albania (Aghvank), and sooner or later, it will be managed by the Albanian-Udian religious community," Gurbanli stated.
