"Currently, there is no initiative to introduce a visa-free regime for Armenian citizens," Swedish Foreign Minister

Sweden's Foreign Minister, Tobias Bilstörm, responded to the letter of Björn Soder, a member of the Swedish Parliament, in which the latter called on the Foreign Minister to take steps to initiate the process of starting a visa-free regime between Armenia and the EU.
In response to MP Soder's letter, Minister Bilstöm responded. "The government is positive about developing relations between the EU and Armenia. The committee made proposals to establish a visa-free regime and then discussed them in the Council and the European Parliament according to the normal legislative procedure. There is no proposal to introduce a visa-free regime for Armenian citizens."
