The authorities of Kazakhstan are taking necessary measures to avoid violating Western sanctions against Russia in the financial sector. Madina Abylkaskymova, the head of Kazakhstan's financial market regulation and development agency, told journalists about this.
"We are taking all necessary measures to avoid the risk of secondary sanctions against Kazakhstan's financial sector. It is essential. We fully comply with the requirements set by the regulators and with the requirements of foreign correspondent banks corresponding to our banks," Abylkaskymova said.
