Iran supplied Russia with 300,000 shells and 1 million bullets, WSJ

Russian ships are transporting large quantities of Iranian-made artillery shells and other munitions across the Caspian Sea to supply troops fighting in Ukraine. Officials of the Middle East Department of the US State Department told "The Wall Street Journal" about it. That is a growing challenge for the US and its allies as they seek to undermine cooperation between Moscow and Tehran.

Over the past six months, cargo ships have transported more than 300,000 artillery shells and 1 million rounds of ammunition from Iran to Russia, according to officials and documents. Intelligence about the shipments was passed on to the US.
