"The decision on Ukraine's membership in NATO can be taken only after the end of the war unleashed against it by Russia," says German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. "The door to NATO has been opened for Kyiv, but now is not the time to make such decisions," Pistorius said.
"First, it is necessary to repulse the attack of the Russians and only after that, in new times, think carefully about this step," Pistorius emphasized. "The issue of Ukraine's membership in NATO should be resolved with a cool head and a warm heart, not the other way around," added Boris Pistorius.
