"We appeal to the Armenian Church for friendship," Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, the leader of the Caucasus Muslims, informed the journalists about this.
Pashazadeh described it as kindness and noted that they had discussed this with the Armenians more than once.
"We are clergymen. Religion cannot be politicized. We even called on the Armenian lobby to help, calling for peace. You can't talk to us in the language of hostility. Everyone does their job," Pashazadeh said.
