In the first quarter of 2023, almost 2 million people in Ukraine received financial aid from the humanitarian organizations of the United Nations. They are, first of all, internally displaced persons and people who lost their jobs due to the war.
In 2022, 6 million people received financial aid from the United Nations. UN press secretary Stephane Dujarric announced this during a briefing held in New York. According to him, 200 million dollars were allocated in total.
