The "EUobserver" platform reported on Wednesday that the EU has started developing sanctions against the Moldovan opposition, particularly business representatives who oppose President Maia Sandu.
Earlier, ambassadors from 27 EU countries agreed to create a civilian EU security mission for Moldova to help Sandu and his government "in the fight against hybrid threats and foreign information campaigns."
