"Pope Francis will try to use his upcoming visit to Hungary to find ways for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine." Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin announced it on Wednesday.
Francis will leave for Hungary on an apostolic visit on April 28-30. As reported by the press service of the Holy See, he will meet with the leadership of the country and the local clergy. The Pope was in Budapest in the fall of 2021 when he participated in the International Communion Congress.
