Aliyev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel discussed issues of combating terrorism

On April 19, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Israel's Foreign Minister Eli Cohen.
"We discussed combating terrorism, expanding security, and economic cooperation between the countries. I congratulated the president on his decision to open an embassy in Israel. This is the first embassy of a Shia Muslim country. It testifies to Israel's high respect in the world," the diplomat wrote on his Twitter page.
