"Armenians of Karabakh should either accept Azerbaijani citizenship or find another place to live," Aliev

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev gave an interview with Azerbaijani television. He referred to the right to live of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians and reiterated Azerbaijan's demands. Aliyev, in particular, stated: "Armenians of Karabakh should either get Azerbaijani citizenship or find another place to live.
Here is complete freedom; all democratic foundations are offered. This issue should be resolved based on human rights. We have repeatedly stated that we will not discuss our internal affairs with any country. Karabakh is our internal matter."
