Egypt has abandoned plans to produce missiles for Russia

According to "The Washington Post," Egypt, under diplomatic pressure from the United States, abandoned plans to supply secret missiles to Russia, which has been waging a full-scale war against Ukraine for more than a year. "At the beginning of March, after negotiations with high-ranking US officials, Cairo authorities suspended the implementation of this plan," the newspaper cites US intelligence documents.

Instead, Egypt has decided to produce 152 mm and 155 mm cannons to transfer to Ukraine, "which is a clear diplomatic victory for the administration of US President Joe Biden," WP summarizes.
