The Syrian "Sana" agency reported that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad met with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud in Damascus. The details of the negotiations have yet to be announced.
Earlier on Tuesday, "Al Arabiya" TV channel reported the arrival of Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to Damascus as part of his first official visit since 2011.
