Slovakia transferred 9 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine to defend against Russian aggression. Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nagy announced on Facebook. 4 more MiG-29 soldiers were assigned to Ukraine in March.
According to Nagy, the Ukrainian military can repair and service these planes independently. Thus, Slovakia became the first country to provide fighter jets to Kyiv.
