Iran believes that Israel is behind the deterioration of relations with Azerbaijan. This was stated by the representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanani, "The Zionist regime (Israel) believes that its national security strategy is to create an unstable and unsafe environment in the region.
