The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, stated that the EU is not afraid of the rise of China. He called on Beijing to take greater responsibility, including in matters of peace and security. Borel wrote about this in his blog, publishing the speech he was supposed to give in Beijing.
"We are not afraid of the rise of China. However, we know that the history of the world tomorrow will also depend on how China uses its power," wrote the head of the European diplomacy.
