The German government has permitted Poland to supply five MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. Earlier, the Polish side requested the appropriate permission from Germany, as the plane was previously transferred to Warsaw from the arsenals of the former GDR. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius welcomed the decision. According to him, this shows that "Germany can be counted on."
