From China to Nicaragua and Egypt. new details from US special services leaks

In recent weeks, several documents allegedly belonging to the Pentagon and other US special services have appeared on the Internet, containing classified information related to the war in Ukraine and the collection of information on close allies of the United States, among others.

Egypt and Russian missiles

"The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, secretly ordered the production of 40,000 missiles and sent them to Russia," the Washington Post writes. It needs to be clarified what the plan's fate was and how the move could affect US-Egyptian relations.

Chinese military base in Nicaragua

According to intercepted reports, Nicaragua is deepening its ties with China at a time when its main ally Russia is busy on the Ukrainian front. Nicaragua and China have held talks on building a deep-water port in Bluefields. According to US estimates, Nicaragua is still favorable to Russia, and it is likely to consider providing a seaport to Beijing in exchange for economic investment.

Russia almost shot down a British spy plane.

According to the leak, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace told British lawmakers last October that on September 29, two Russian Su-27 fighter jets intercepted and suppressed a British RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft flying in international airspace over the Black Sea. Wallace said one of the Russian planes flew within 15 feet of the British plane while the other fired a missile from a distance. Russian military officials said the missile launch resulted from a "technical malfunction."
