Egypt tried to secretly deliver 40,000 missiles to Russia

Egypt was supposed to produce tens of thousands of missiles for the needs of the Russian army, and their production and transportation were to remain secret from Western countries. The American newspaper "The Washington Post" wrote about this on Monday, referring to one of the alleged US secret documents, the appearance of which on the Internet is now being investigated by the Pentagon and the US Department of Justice.

According to the February 17 document, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi ordered the high-ranking military to produce up to 40,000 missiles for delivery to Russia. In addition, the head of state demanded that information on the production and transportation of shells be kept secret to "avoid problems with the West," WP notes.
