Turkey will put into orbit the first IMECE observation satellite of its own production

On April 11, Turkey will launch the first self-made IMECE observation satellite into orbit, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.
"We will continue to be in the universal space race thanks to the technologies we have developed," Erdogan said.
The satellite will collect data for defense needs, disaster management, climate change monitoring, and agricultural development.
