Washington and Kiev are discussing the possibility of Ukrainian gas production

During a briefing, US Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turk announced that Washington is discussing possible ways to support Ukraine in appropriating gas fields with Kyiv.
The deputy minister emphasized that Ukraine has natural gas reserves, and the two countries had bilateral discussions regarding further developing the respective fields. "First of all, in the interests of the Ukrainian people and to ensure their energy security," Turk said.
