"Countries receiving uranium from Russia should be subject to sanctions," German Minister of Economy

"Countries that receive uranium from Russia for their nuclear power plants should be subject to sanctions," German Economy Minister Robert Habeck said. "During the negotiations held in the capital of Ukraine, the issue of supplying uranium fuel rods from Russia to Europe was in the center of attention," said Habeck.
He believes restrictions should be introduced, "even if it means an adjustment for countries still fueling their nuclear power plants with Russian uranium."
