Analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War confirmed the data from Russian sources that Wagner's forces captured the administration building of Bakhmut city.
Wagner will "probably continue to try to consolidate control over the central part of Bakhmut and move westward through densely populated areas of the city in the direction of Khromovo," the institute noted. ISW added that representatives of the armed forces of Ukraine confirm that regular Russian troops, particularly the airborne forces, are increasingly active in Bakhmut along with the Wagnerites.
