Seyyed Abbas Mousavi, Iran's ambassador to Azerbaijan, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan on April 3, and he was given a response note. In addition, the ambassador was given a list of several anti-Azerbaijani articles published in the Iranian media.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan also announced the importance of taking urgent measures in Iran to prevent the publication of "false and biased anti-Azerbaijani" materials in the Iranian media.
Earlier, we reported that Tehran handed over a protest note to Baku regarding some Azerbaijani media's offensive actions. Iran warned that such mass media behavior could negatively affect the relations between the two countries.
