The EU's prosperity and security will depend on its relationship with China

The European Union's economic prosperity and national security will depend on the nature of its relations with China. This was announced by the head of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen.
"How we manage our relationship with China will determine our economic prosperity and national security," Leyen said. Ursula von der Leyen also noted that China's position on the Ukraine conflict would be decisive for EU-China relations. "The EU is not interested in worsening relations with China and intends to restore them," he added.
