"Israel and Azerbaijan share the threat of Iran;" Foreign Minister of Israel

Israeli and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Jeihun Bayramov and Eli Cohen spoke at the press conference following the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel.

"Iran is a regional threat. Israel and Azerbaijan share the Iranian threat. Iran threatens our region and creates instability in the Middle East by supporting and financing terrorism. We must act together against Iran to prevent the expansion of its nuclear capabilities," stated the Israeli Foreign Minister.

"Cooperation between our countries is based on mutual understanding, respect, and common interests," added Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Bayramov.
