The Assistant Secretary of State had a telephone conversation with Bayramov regarding the military movements of Azerbaijan

US State Department Deputy Spokesman Vedant Patel announced that Assistant Secretary of State Karen Donfried had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Bayramov and expressed concern about Azerbaijan's military movements.
"She emphasized the commitment of the USA to the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace negotiations. Direct dialogue is the solution to this problem and the way to achieve lasting peace. The conflict has no military solution. We will continue to support the discussions between Armenia and Azerbaijan bilaterally through our partners and international organizations," he said.
