"The West should prepare for a long-term conflict in Ukraine because the prospects for its settlement are not yet visible," said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
According to him, the conflict in Ukraine can be called a "war of attrition." Stoltenberg assumed that the Russian leadership "does not plan peace." The Secretary-General noted that Western countries should increase production capacity to supply Ukraine with new weapons and ammunition. "The current level of ammunition consumption is higher than the current production rate," he added.
