RIA Novosti reports that an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 was recorded in the north of Argentina, citing the country's seismological service.
The hearth was located at a depth of 227 kilometers, 163 kilometers northwest of San Salvador.
According to the seismological service of Chile, bordering Argentina, tremors with a magnitude of 6.1 were also recorded in the north of this country.
There are no reports of damage or possible casualties in either country.
